3M Scotchgard Paint Protection Film?

I see alot of people post about Xpel, and I found this other place called Clearmask (http://www.clearmask.com/vehicle_page.php).

Am I correct in assuming they`re all selling the same stuff, the 3M Scotchgard?

Clearmask also has this other product called Aerogard, which they say is better than the regular stuff. They have a letter from 3M saying so: http://www.clearmask.com/aerogardpage/3M%20Clearmask%20Letter%20August%202005.pdf

So what`s everybody`s take/opinion on this?

Thanks!

I know alot of people are scared of it, but ebay has really good prices on front end masks. I saw one there for my car under 275 dollars. It included full front bumper, first 18" of fenders, first 18" of hood, a-pillars, headlights, and mirrors. Was a great deal, and I regret not getting it because now, 2 months after i bought my car, i have a nice pair of paint chips. one on the bumper and one on the hood. both of which would`ve never occured if i had that clear bra installed.

I think they`re all OEM by 3M. If I were to get it done on curved and tight areas, I`d get it professionaly done. I`d only try to install it on flat areas, like the lower parts of a door.
