Hello all.

I`ve got a bike with alot of aluminum on it to polish. Some of it is pretty oxidized, especially the wheels...so I`m doing some research..

I`ve tried several products, they do a good job on the light stuff, but they don`t quite seem strong enough for the rough stuff

I have Mothers Mag poilsh, NXT Polysh, Nevrdull, Flitz..

I did a check on ebay and there are alot of the boutique products around $15 plus shipping...you know the polish the bottom of a soda can kind of stuff.

I also see that Chemical Guys has a metal polish

I think a chemical style cleaner is what looking for, and then maybe follow up with my above mentioned products.

Thanks In Advance

Are you talking about aluminum engine parts? If so check out caswell.com

Did some shopping on the way home...

The Harley dealer had some Simichrome..and it was actually cheaper there than I saw online..7 bucks...

then I went to Advance Auto and grabbed some Noxon (I think) in a green bottle..it`s a strong cleaner. I tried out the Noxon and it cut through the oxidation/grime pretty well for the maybe 5 seconds I tried on a spot..

I figure between that and the Simi/NXT/Flitz...I should work out

Mothers mag/aluminum Polish can handle some pretty tough oxidation if you keep at it.

I polished most of my engine bay with Mothers polish by hand with a cotton cloth (well, about a dozen of them :) ) and I was very impressed at the results it gave me.
