Questions about mixing Optimum compound and polish

would it be reccomened to mix optimum polish with optimum compound to create a polish that would have a little more cutting action, but retain the gloss of the optimum polish?



any help would be greatly appreicated. =)

Most polishes can be made a bit more/less aggressive by simply using a different pad. You`ll get more cut with Optimum Polish and an orange pad than with Optimum Polish and a blue pad.



I wouldn`t try to mix them. You`ll have abrasives that will break down at different rates. I think it`s asking for problems.
