They sell these yellow foam pads at a local store....are they worth 9.99? I`ll be possibly using it on a rotary if I find something to practice on first since it would be my 1st time using one. Or I`ll rip the foam pad off of this buffer thing i have, put velcro on the plate, and use this pad on it.

The particular ones you have listed there are NOT velcro-backed--they have a permanent backing to get screwed on. So they wouldn`t work if u rigged ur orbital with velcro. You might as well take advantage of free shipping and 10% off at pinnaclewax.com and just get some LC velcro backed pads there.

i could be wrong but i think those are for drill use.....

go to meguiars website and order from them over the phone....

i would just buy a bp and some of there pads but if you prefere there pad with nonremoving bp then they sell it too you pay more in the long run...just a thought...

Yup they are designed for drill use so that you can work on trouble areas, not the entire car.

Eight seems mighty large to learn on. I use 6" on rotary, 5" and 4"on PC and of course 4" on Cyclo

Eight inch pads are probably too large to learn with...regardless of what flavours you like.

Experience suggests sticking to 6-7" pads, and in time, working up from there...if you think its necessary (very rare).
