Glaze under IW845... will it affect durability?

Should I use Mothers S&G under IW845, or just apply 845 to a well prepped surface? I am looking for max durability to get me through winter. Thanks!

No one uses glaze under IW845? ;)

I would think it would be ok but fine

but the solvents in IW may remove alot of the glaze

I think IW looks great on its own

I`ve used P21S GEPC and S&G under IW a few times. I get a slicker final finish with GEPC+IW than I do with S&G+IW.



But since you are looking primarily for durability, I would apply IW 2X (wait 24 hours between applications) and call it a winter.

I polished an Escalade with Vanilla Moose and topped it with 845. Looked awesome, I`m sure if it doesn`t hold up, I`ll hear about it.
