I polish and wax by hand using either terry or foam pads. I take the stuff off with terry towels. Is it ok to wash the towels with the waxing pads or will this cause a problem ?

i.e.. will stuff from the pads get on my towels or does the washer pretty much clean everything ?

I find the yellow foam pads float in the washing machine and therefore don`t get much washing "action" accomplished on them. I soak them in something else first (Snappy Pad Cleaner or dish detergent), squeeze them out and redunk a few times until they seem free of wax/etc., rinse & squeeze, then wash them with the towels.

I put all mine in the wash with my cloth`s & they come out all ok.

Saying that, I do put about 20 pads & a similar amount of cloth`s

I do the same with my foam pads.
