My wife has a `97 Camaro 30th anniversary edition. Great car that is kept in pristine condition for a daily driver. While washing it this weekend I notice that the gas cap must not have been on tight enough and spilled fuel down the side of the car and back toward the bumper. This has satined it a light shade of yellow. I tries SS2, AIO, VM and anything else I had in my arsenal but no luck.

Any ideas how to get this off?

I don`t think the stain is on the surface.

The gas probably embedded in the clear-coat.

You`ll need a cutting polish and a PC. Then follow with your sealant, wax and QD.

I agree. I`d try a cutting polish like SSR2.5 with the PC, or AIO with a cutting pad.

I tried 2.5 with an Excel Yellow pad and AIO by hand. NO luck.
