Has anyone compared these two products?

I am definitely intrigued by the idea of having a spray on wax/sealant, as this will make it much easier to maintain the protection and shine on my cars. So, I am looking for advice between these two products (and will take other recommendations as well).

I find it interesting that the Optimum has both carnauba and a sealant mixed together. The Detailers Pride product appears to be a pure sealant.

Opinions appreciated.

I can`t even get the Spray Shield since they are having issues shipping it into California. I have optimum spray wax, but have yet to use it. Seeing how you live in California too, i doubt you will be able to get any sent to you, so you are limited to OSW.

I`ve used both products.

For ease of use, OCW wins hands down because application and removal is so effortless. DP`s hazes as you spread it around and takes more effort to remove. Not excessive force to remove, just not the QD ease of OCW.

DPs SS has a more hard, wet, clear look, very much like a sealant. OCW has more of a liquid glow. On lighter colors and metallics, I could go with either, on dark colors, I prefer OCW. Durability seems similar, a few months on a daily driver.

BTW, DP`s SS works very well over their Premium Surface Shield, seems to really intensify the look. :)
