I havent tried Megs #7, but I have used VM Hand Glaze, how does #7 compare to the VM, is #7 a thicker liquid than the VM.

Thanks,

stay away from #7 as its a little hard to use. #5 would be a better choice. as for appearance I can`t say

VM is a breeze to work with, I heard #7 is a PITA to work with.

I switched IHG to #7 a few weeks ago. #7 is easier to use than IHG. Want to know RMG is worth to try or not.

By Hand VM is easier than #7, #81 or RMG, all leave great wet looks, for Hand work VM has a little bit of bit which cleans up paint nicely. Both #7 and VM look great though.

RMG is my go to glaze on good shape paint now as by PC with a finishing pad it is amazing.

I think of #7 as a pure glaze, no cleaning ability. I think of VM as a high-grade cleaner wax. Cleans and contains some very mild (almost nonexistent) abrasives. Left untopped the VM will far outlast the #7, which comes off with the next wash.

Offhand I dunno which one is thicker/thinner. They`re not all that different in that regard or I`d probably remember.

I agree that #5 is easier to use than #7 and #5 is my favorite of the Meg`s pure polishes. #5 is very user-friendly but I dunno if it looks as nice as RMG, which I haven`t tried yet. I`d guess that the RMG looks better. I greatly prefer #5/#7 over 3M IHG though. The IHG is my least favorite glaze.

I didn`t get much hiding from VM, and somehow I just never seem to use it very often...

If you are itching to try one of Meguiars pure polishes, #3 Machine Glaze or #81 Hand Polish are more user friendly than #7. Compared to VM, neither is as easy to use, although the appearance is a better deeper.

I didn`t find #7 that bad to do by hand.. Gonna have to try w/PC now.

The results were deep that is for sure

If #7 works easily enough for you I`d just stick with that. If it`s not easy, try the #3/#81. If those aren`t easy enough, then use #5. If #5 isn`t easy enough, just give up :D

When i used #7 i wiped off what i could in a pass or 2, then waxed right over it.

Wiping off the wax cleared everything up.

No problems here with #7 either but VM is probably the easist product in the world to apply and remove.

Or you could try some Mother`s Seal and Glaze. Gave me great results, combined with Natty`s blue, it hid a lot of swirls/scratches, looked very deep, very wet and made the metalic flakes pop like no other. And its cheap. Definitly worth a try.
