First, a couple quick shots of that metallic black CL500 from last time that were on this new roll. Optimum Compound with a Meguiars cutting pad, Optimum Polish with a Meguiars polishing pad and Optimum Car wax x 2.

2006 Dodge Charger R/T. Stuck in a parking garage this time. He and his wife are getting a divorce so he moved to some nice loft apartment and the only place to work on his car is in the parking garage. Oh well, the lighting is pretty decent. Clearkote`s Red Machine Glaze by hand, Poorboy`s Natty`s Blue Paste by hand.

That Charger looks great :)

Do most of your jobs involve only 3 steps? Wash, mild polish, LSP?

2002 Audi A6. 3 years old, end of lease, never been detailed. Interior actually wasn`t too bad, mostly just a plethora of dog hair. Exterior was a bit different. Not horrible but lots of black spots on the hood and trunk lid. Claying didn`t do much other then shear off the tops. Went with Optimum Compound and a Meguiars cutting pad on the hood and trunk lid, then Optimum Polish with a Meguairs polishing pad on the whole car, finished with Optimum Car Wax by hand. Didn`t finish until about 20 minutes before sunset, so pics are a bit dark.

1997 Mercedes SL500. Regular customer, I detail it about 3 times a year. Only has 44,000 miles on it. May be for sale early next year if her son buys her a new one for Christmas this year.

Interior was pretty immaculate but the hood had some reall hard water spots on it. Really hard! I used a test version of Optimum Compound (a faster cut version) with a Meguiars cutting pad, then the regular version of Optimum Compound with another Meg`s cutting pad. I then went over the whole car with Optimum Polish and a Meguiars polishing pad, Clearkote`s Red Machine Glaze with a blue Propel finishing pad, and topped with Carnauba Moose Wax using a Meguiars finishing pad. Only two shots, last two on the roll. Wish I had another roll with me, I think this is the best the car has ever turned out. Just incredibly deep and wet-second shot really show it! :)

2002 Jaguar S Type. Detailed at the end of August and topped with Detailer`s Pride Premium Surface Shield. Took this pic yesterday (October 5th) after the 2nd straight week of using a new wash product. It isn`t out yet so I am not saying who is making it. Don`t PM me either because I won`t respond to questions about the product until it is released for sale. I will say I like it very much. :)

I`ve seen Scottwax do lots of steps on one car. Just depends on what`s needed. After shots always look great so doesn`t seem like there`s a need to do more. If there is, then it`s up to the customer to pay for it.

I really like the pics of the Charger. It looks SLICK.

Gotta try the RMG/Blue Nattys combo.

Excellent work & photography. Did all the waterspots come out after all that polishing?

I can`t wait to hear about the car wash product.

While I was finishing up the Charger, some guy who had just pulled up in a new BMW 645 walked over and said how much he liked the Charger. :)

I hear a lot of gripes about it having 4 doors, but in person the car looks terrific.

Yes, they did. She is very careful with the car, parks in the middle of parking lots to avoid sprinklers and trees, etc. She does go through a construction zone once a week to get her hair done and she said the last time she did it was sprinkling. My guess is some of the crap kicked up by construction (maybe some cement dust) combined with rain formed the hard water spots. I really had to bear down on my PC with the Optimum compounds.

I wish I could say more about the wash product (not a spray) but with all the #@$#@$ over Shokar I don`t want to get into specifics just in case the product doesn`t make it to market.

I guess it should have been worded `2nd set`. The one with the 4 step on the SL500.

That `97 SL500 looks great, I know it only has 44k, but it`s still an 8 year old car. Kind of funny how some aesthetic designs translate so well over the years.

Nice work, Scott.
