1st Post and Need some Advice

Hey all, I have been browsing this forum for a few months and decided to ask a few questions regarding detailing.



I am trying to get a nice wax on my 05 Redline 350Z Roadster. I have used the Zaino ZPC with an orbital and got the paint really clean. I do have some minor swirls left over that the ZPC could not hide or get rid of. I am on my next step of Waxing. I have 3M Liquid Wax. Or should I buy a Polish, then Wax?



1. Should I apply by hand or by orbital?

2. Toss the 3M and buy soemthing better?

4. I am not going back to Zaino as it left cloudiness in my paint and my ZFX dried up!

Helllo fellow Z owner !!! First thing I NEED to say is that cheap(assuming) orbital is not the answer. The answer is the Guide to Detailing (http://www.guidetodetailing.com/articlenoheader.php?articleId=58) .. What you choose after reading this is up to you !!! But a good wash/clay/polish (prep) is second to none for a great finish. :xyxthumbs

thats about the best advice I think anyone can get...everybody likes different products and youre going to get countless different answers of what products you should buy...read the reviews on some products youre interested in and make your own decisions. Get a PC and do a nice clay, polish, seal/wax and be done with it.
