Hey guys.
I have a car due for and the hood is discolored with dark splotches and light areas all around. This I suppose is from waxing in the sun (that is what she told me she did a few years back), so Im just wondering if there is any way around the blemeshes or any way to cover it up.
Let me know what you guys think. ~the clearcoat is failing in some spots too,but its weird...only small dime sized circles in a few spots.

Sounds like oxidation. Try a paint cleaner as your first step at removal.

Paint cleaner like AIO? or something more cleaning specific... I`ll probly go through a whole detail and see how it comes out. (wash, clay, ssr2,ssr1,AIO, Klasse SG). Any tips on preventing further clear coat failure for this person?

The dark splotches and light areas may also be an indication of clear coat failure. I have seen a delamination that actually looked like plastic wrap had been put on the car and wasn`t stuck down every where. It was the clear that wasn`t sticking and it didn`t get any better.
