Spray the area with a water bottle every so often. I keep the area dripping wet.

Careful on the edges unless you don`t care about the car, half the strokes and half the pressure and you can still easily burn through the clear in no time at all.

my fav grit is (3M) 2000 0r 1500 depending on the needs......tape edges and mouldings and like the other said....LOTS OF WATER....stop often , dry and observe your work often, and youlll know by looks where you need to proceed.

Watch the Meguiar`s Professional videos on www.bettercarcare.com

I learned pretty much everything I know from there (regarding wetsanding).

I use Meguiar`s Unigrit stuff, the 2.5K block and the 3K paper. The sanding scratches come out easily with 3M PI-III RC (05933).
