Sal Zaino reccomends using dish soap to wash your car before applying his products, but, is it really OK/Safe to do this? I`m a little skeptical... could someone clear this up please? Thanks.

COMPLETELY safe, using the same safe wash methods of top to bottom and not letting water dry on the surface, or in the sun.

It`s a good suggestion to aid in the removal of additives and gunk on the surface, which is why they suggest doing it.

All the dish shop will ever really do is strip the wax/sealant coat, at least partially, so just don`t continue to do it as a weekly regime and you`ll be fine.

If you use Z-PC you can skip the Dawn wash, or use AIO as a base and wash with Z-7 prior to applying Z2 or Z5.

Completely and totally safe for this one time use as a prep product.

Do a search for "Dawn" or "Dawn wash".

Many discussions invalidating the detailing myth about using "Dawn" in this manner.
