Hey all!!!
One of my regular client`s has parted with her `05 350Z Roadster....

...and purchased the gorgeous `05 G35 coupe that I detailed today. This is actually the second client I`ve had do this. The other went from a silver `03 350Z Touring into a black `04 G35 coupe with the sport package. Both clients gave indentical reasons...they loved the Z`s but the G`s offered better practicality by having a back seat (both client`s vehicles are daily driven primary vehicles). Either way you just can`t go wrong with these cars. Two weeks ago when I was at a car show I saw an orange 350Z with a Vortech blower and custom intercooler set-up that was putting 420 rear wheel ponies down. If I ever decide to buy an import rest assured it will be either a Z or G.
This G only had a little over a 100 miles on it and as such was in new condition. Dealer swirling was minimal with the worst part being a few rotary induced buffer trails. The paint was free of contaminants and did not need to be clayed. Below are pics and a description of the detail.
Enjoy,
Mike
The detail:
Wash with Meg`s Gold Class shampoo
Polish with Klasse AIO using a LC white pad and my PC set at 5.
Seal with Poorboy`s Natty Paste Wax by hand with a foam pad. Even though this G is a dark color I prefer using the original white Natty`s over the blue Natty`s on metallic paint. What the white Natty`s gives up in depth to the blue Natty`s on dark colors it more than makes up for in making metallic flake "pop" with vengeance.
Glass has been VM`d, rims are sealed with Meg`s #20 and the tires and wells are dressed with AA.
