I tried both on my new truck and for me the SFX3 was MUCH easier to remove and overall work with.

It also seemed the FPII was slightly more abrasive is this true or not?

What`s everyones opinions on the two?

Were you polishing until dry? That`s what makes FPII tough to remove.

I think FP2 is more abrasive and BEST suited to rotary use. I do very much like working with SFX3, though. I`d almost ALMOST classify that as a paint cleanser but it does have some abrasives and it worked wonders to remove very fine marring left by SFX2 on the black S2000 I did recently.

SFX 3 is sonus version of clearkote in my opinion. A hand glaze with some cleaners in it

FP II is a 2000 grit + finishing polish that I use after all other Menzerna products

After FP II I normally use VM with edge blue, rmg with edge white and yellow moose by hand or klasse aio, sfx 3 and then start sealing.

I asked David about the cleaning ability in the SFX polishes, he responded saying that they had no cleaning ablilitly.

There is a paint cleaner made by Sonus who;s abrasive is the same as SFX 3`s.

I witnessed SFX3 removed many waterspots from my truck so it has to have some cleaning power? Weird.

Oh well, after I used SFX3 the paint shined very very nice, it removed all of the dealership crappy wax etc.
