Been looking for a decent bucket WITH LID. Anyone found a decent one that dosen`t cost the earth! I`m tired of rescueing spiders every time I wash the motor!

Store em upside down on an old towel on a shelf - easy peasy

SPONGE????? :soscared:

Get a decent wahsmitt mate - rinse after use then hang over a radiator and voila, problem disappears. OR hang some washing line up in your garage and hang them over that OR get a hook and hang bucket from it

Call your local GM Goodwrench service center. They carry a black bucket with a cover, but I don`t remember the cost.

Is this one that "costs the earth" http://www.autopia-carcare.com/probucket.html ? If it is, there is that one at GritGuard, which is less (but only because it comes without the dolly). There are tons of buckets and different kinds of lids at www.usplastics.com, but I don`t know if any of these places, other than the Autopia store, ships to the UK.

its such an arse, you would have thought there would be a cheap(ish) supplier out there(uk). I see megs do one, but you have to buy a shed load of products as well, something I try not to do.

I was in B & Q the other day buying some painting stuff for the house when I noticed a Vileda Ultramax bucket for sale (can`t remember the price). It had a snap-on section in it (meant for squeeging the vileda mop) which I thought would do for holding my wheel brushes and hanging the wash mitt. It works OK for me.
