I`ve cleaned the black leather in my BMW E39 with AG but other than the steering wheel and gear selector very little dirt came off on the cloth. I keep the car in a clean order generally (I`ve only just got attrated by this detailing lark) and wondered if this is normal or should I be seeing more dirt come off :brit

What are you using to clean it? If it appears clean, I wouldn`t go any further as to forcefully clean it.

I am guessing Autoglym`s interior cleaner. Were you using a MF cloth to wipe the surfaces

Were you using the AG Leather Care Cream, or the AG Leather Cleaner? In my experience the Care Cream doesn`t really do any cleaning at all.

I was using the Autoglym leather cleaner and just a damp cotton cloth to apply and AG polishing cloth to remove

Use a Mr Clean Magic Eraser, you won`t believe all the dirt that comes out.

I used a Sonus SFX Pro applicator to do this door - the scrubby yellow side and it was actually pretty gentle. Used the Sonus Leather Cleaner and wiped up with a MF detailing towel and it was a great combo, I must say... I`ve found that just a MF towel doesn`t have enough "bite" to really clean most leather that effectively...
