I ordered some 845 from parts america from a link someone posted here. I only ordered 2 bottles 10.88 per bottle. If you order over 50.00 they will ship for free, and I believe it is the old formula I received It did not say paste on it.

I am not an expert whatsoever. Have 2 coats of 845, and today I had first rain over my car.

Yeah, that crazy beading becomes addictive. Any other waxed car in the rain looks unwaxed, I`ve even thought about putting some collinite on my black leather shoes, heh...

Well everyone seems to have good things to say about these waxes!

The reason I bought it through Collinite was to support the actual makers of the wax.... and it`s kinda close..... free shipping helped too.

I`m looking forward to using them! :bounce

Goose,

You won`t be disappointed. Been using it for years and no matter what things I try in between I always end up back with Collinite 845 or 476.

I have to agree with all of the comments -- especially the beading.

I waxed my black car with 2 coats of 845 about a month ago. I was very impressed with shine. It isn`t quite as wet-looking or mirror-like to me as Meg`s #26, but it is close. I washed it for the first time last weekend and was impressed at how the water raced off of the car. "Bead" doesn`t even begin to describe what happens to water on an 845-waxed car. It rained last week. By the time I parked the car in the parking garage on my rainy-day commute, it was practically dry! I washed it again yesterday and was again impressed with the effect. I`m curious to how long this will last. My wife even commented on it as I was washing the car.

I`m doing my wife`s red car today. I`ve been trying lots of stuff in the past few months and have some Meg`s #21 (wanted some durability over the winter) that I wanted to put on her car to test its durability. But, my wife told me that she wanted 845 on her car! She`s never taken an interest in the products before -- just the results. This time, she saw what 845 did to my car and said that she wanted 845.

JasonATL- I`m not surprised that your wife got so enthusiastic about the Collinite. I`ve found that "normal people" :D are really impressed by the beading and the way vehicles sorta "self clean" in the rain. It`s a great LSP for family/friends/customers (who feel they "got their money`s worth").

The in-law we gave the Volvo to never cared about waxes until she got a nicely detailed car and a bottle of 845 to keep it that way.
