It has been 5 months since we purchased a Phantom Grey Sequoia. It is time to detail it. After reading many posts and sites I have decided to try Zaino products. I would like you to consider the following and recommend:

1.- It is Phantom Grey in color

2.- I live in Arizona and it is 100 degrees or more daily

3.- I have had the car for 5 months

4.- The paint has no swirls or scrathes

What of the Zaino products do I need?

Would there be any way to purchase these products locally?

In what order do I apply them?

How long should the entire process take me?

Do I do this outside in the sun or inside the garage?

I have read that their Clay Bar is not that great, which one do you recommed?

I will also buy the Z9 and Z10 for the leather seats, what do I use for the panels inside the car?

What brand of Microfiber Towels do I need?

Any recommendations?

Your ideas are welcomed

Thanks

check out the autopia detailing guide e-book (http://www.autopia-carcare.com/freeguide.html)

once you read up on detailing you`ll have most of the answers to your questions.

You are really the only one that could answer the "purchase locally question"

Get a phone book, look online, drive around. Go INSIDE a store... and look for the products. If you still dont find them... ask a member of the sales team where to locate it or what stores carry it that they know of (assuming the store doesnt` carry it).

Call a local body shop and ask them where a reputable place to pick up auto-detailing products is.

tons of reading can be had on the autopia carcare website (http://www.autopia-carcare.com/)

Hey FernB- I believe you can only purchase zaino through the zaino store online or via phone. Zaino Store (http://www.zainostore.com) . Also their website is full of info on application and product detail.

I am almost in the exact same boat as you. I am switching my 5 month old grey car over to Zaino. Here is a thread that I started which may or may not be helpful.Zaino discussion (http://autopia.org/forum/showthread.php?t=62081)

Good luck with your application. You can contact Zaino by phone or email for support, and they are outstanding.
