RMG and Souveran Paste Wax

Just detailed car with Menerza PO85 (WOW) what a shine....Then I added 2 X RMG and X Souveran Paste Wax. Last time I did this It was a fantastic shine with a lot of depth to it. I can`t figure uot why this time the shine is somewhat lacking. Could it be I used to soft of pads to apply? That is the only thing I can come up with. It looked out of this world with just the Men P085. Thanks....

I normally apply RMG by finishing pad and it looks great, so I don`t think it requires a polishing pad. Did you make sure to get all the Menzerna off before applying the RMG? Could be a slight haze from that which might be making it look a little dull.

Yes got all Menzerna off. Now I am thinking I may not have turned my pad speed up to 4 for RMG and Pin Sov. That may be the problem..

Ya that could be it - you do need to work the RMG in some before wiping it off or it can look a little cloudy, in my experience.

I work the RMG on 4/5 till it seems to dissolve into the paint with a finishing pad by PC, not had any problem heres like that on Black. Doing that Leaves is little to wipe off anyway.

Yes I checked and my DA speed was on 2/turned up to 4 Wash car and added a coat of blue natty`s and a coat of mothers topper wax, She shines now!
