Black Velvet wax on red white and blue?

What would be the effect of using Black Velvet (http://www.topoftheline.com/black-wax-carnauba.html) carnauba paste wax on colors other than black? Would it be good on a red? What about other colors both light and dark?



It states that although the wax is black it comes off clear.



"The wax is black in color, however it wipes-off colorless. I used ONE white microfiber towel for the entire car`s two coats of Black Velvet. The towel was white when I started and white when I finished. I was amazed."





I was just curious as an experimental application.?
