Yes this my first post ever so go easy on me I have a red 2001 Ford F-150 and about a year ago my wife was painting mailbox with almond spray paint. It is on hood and both fenders I tried Mothers clay twice and dilluted mineral spirits no such luck at all any suggestions. I am just starting to get serious into auto detailing and want to start my own bussiness.

When my gf sprayed her bumper she had overspray all over the plastic lights. I used PlasticX and it removed all of the overspray. So I am guessing in your case, swirl remover might work?

So... you waited a year to remove the overspray???

I would also try the polish to remove it.

Two ideas. You can try using a Claybar with lubricant (either the lube that comes with the clay or just car wash solution and water) The Claymagic brand is available in most auto parts stores for about $10. Many folks have removed overspray by Claybar but it can take a few tries to get it all off. I had OS on my truck and it took me 5 tries, but afterwards I was sold on Clay.

The other idea is One Grand Special Touch (http://www.garage-toys.com/special-touch.html) I havent personally tried it yet but its supposed to remove overspray. Autosupermart.com has the best price I`ve seen with $5 shipping.

I had a customer who had the bed of his pick-up repaired and repainted and the body shop got severe overspray all over the rest of the truck. After several minutes, I had maybe cleared a spot the size of a volleyball using clay on the roof. Switched to my PC, a Meguiars burgandy cutting pad and Clearkote`s Compound. Stuff just ate right through the overspray and left a reaasonbly good finish for such an aggressive combo. #80 and a polishing pad finished it off very nicely.
