I am detailing a 1990 BLACK mustang and the finish is VERY oxidized! I am using PwC by hand with a terry applicator and so far 3 pads are blacker then the paint! So I am wondering what steps you pros use for very bad oxidized vehicles!

You are going to more than likely need a fairly aggressive polish or compound and a rotary. To do a seriously oxidized paint job without one will literally take you forever without getting the best results. Tape off all the trim etc.. before you start too so you don`t spread the paint laden compound into the trim and stain it. Good luck.
