Can I use Red Moose MACHINE Glaze by hand??

I`m looking at using it on my S/Stage red `68 Camaro to hide some very fine swirls...but the name MACHINE glaze has me wondering...

Also, is it a wipe on wipe off product or do I have to let it "set up"?

Thanks!!

Ironically enough, I did a `68 Camaro with RMG by hand, and then topped with Blue Nattys. Do a search, you`ll find it. It works fine by hand. It will work BETTER by PC, but most polishes/cleaners do.

You can do a panel at a time or do the whole car and then remove. It didn`t make a whole lot of difference to me. I like doing a couple panels at a time and then removing.

I find it harder to get perfectly thin layers by hand and that the PC with a finishing pad does an awesome job

Yes, you can use it by hand. No, you don`t have to let it set up.

Is RMG a clearish red kind of watery in appearance or does it look like a thicker brick red like red moose wax ?

RMG works great by hand, I was using it this way for a few months before I got my PC. VM however seems to give the same results by hand and it is easier to work by hand as it goes on and comes off wet. RMG seems to dissolve /disapear into the paint when used by PC, which means hardly any wipe down, you dont get this so much by hand so makes it a little more work than by PC or VM by hand when removing. It is by no means difficult and works fine and gives great results.

By PC or by hand I do on panel at a time.

Only reason I ask is the photo from Pakshak for the RMG makes it look watery and translucent . The sample that I have looks a lot like the red wax - thicker and a different color - same color as RMW and smells pretty bad too

RMG is thicker than VM, but not CMW thick. When we compared it a few weeks ago, it was like AIO in consistancy.

Dan: I would use it with the finishing pad on the PC. I use it on the rotary and finishing pad at low speeds and it has worked better for me than by hand.

It looks better, and is 100000000000000000 times easier to use :)

Its easier to use, but I have never found #7 the pain some do. Both look great IMO. With RMG it is thought sealants will be able to go over the top off it better than #7
