It is going to take a solvent. I used Hi-Temps Tar and Wax remover to remove some gum from paint recently. Clay may also work.

WD40 has worked for melted rubber, why not give that a shot. It`s harmless, and just may work.

WD-40, just make sure to rewax or reapply a sealant after using WD 40.

I`m just throwing out ideas here. How about IPA or 3m general purpose adhesive cleaner?

ICE! This works wonders with the help of a fingernail. Then WD40 for the small stuff.

I`ve had this happen twice, both times rooster tails of melted bubble gum! First ice to prep it then a spray of WD-40 and off it all came.

Looks like WD-40 is the choice. I wonder if tri-flow would work too? Tri-flow is similiar to WD-40 except it contains teflon.
