I`m going to the Good Guys outdoor car show is in Kansas City Sept 23-25. I didn`t go last year because of work but this year it looks like I`m going to be able to make. The show draws about 3000 customs and muscle cars so it is tough to place in the top 100. Since I drive mine it takes all the help I can get against all the trailer queens and low mileage cars. I will be driving about 125 miles to get there – NO Trailer here!!

This is a very dark black car with 8 coats of clear and polishes aluminum Boyd wheels and a powder-coated frame with leather and cloth interior. Since Zanio has great durability it will be used on the powder coated frame and underneath? I will be using PC and PB 2.5 followed by 1.0 then an IPA wipe down. My question is what to use from here on? I have quite a few products but I do have time to order also. I need suggest on what will make black car stand out among 3000 other cars so I can place in the top 100? Please lets hear your suggestions!

I will keep you posted on the out come.....

DennisH: good luck at Goodguys! I`m going as a spectator and if you need help with your rod (washing area, access to pc, etc), you are welcome at my driveway. I`m about 12 minutes from KS Speedway.

See Ya

If you`re looking for the wettest combo possible, pick up some Pinnacle Souveran! Also pick up some RMG (Glaze).

*I* would go with AIO/Souveran x 2 or Z2 Pro x 2 /Z8.

Dennis: don`t know if you`ve tried Adams Brilliant Spray Glaze yet or not, but it`s excellent stuff right before a show. Really adds depth to the paint and is easy to apply/remove. I`ve got some here it you want to try it out.

TOL`s Trade Secret is a sweet looking topper to black . It`s on the line of Pinnacle Souveran , only half the price . I haven`t tried Meguiar`s new #21 but I liked the look , it made hunter green real dark looking . I`m thinking #21 with TS on top would look sweet . Good luck at the show and that`s a sweet car . :buffing:

I`m back --- I`m a small business owner and end of year is Sept 30 so I had inventory, and tons of paper work to get ready. My plans was to leave for Goodguys around Noon and Saturday and come back Sunday. Do to employee’s problems on Saturday I couldn`t leave till late in the day. College football weekend is some of our biggest days for us. If you go to the KSU games stop by and check us out – weekend I normally have one of my cars out front of the business. Now Rita threats to be in Kansas City on Sunday. I do appreciate your offer it was very kind. Since chances are that I will miss Goodguys do you know of any cool cars shows coming up in KC :work:
