On *some* finishes, SSR 2.5 will do no better than leaving "haze" all over the place. If you *have* to mix and match then I`d use 2.5 and the FPII and then whatever finishers you want.

well, i can speak from limited experience.

i use menzerna IP and FPII, and i have tried the SSR2.5

i may need to work on my poorboy skills but i like menzerna alot better,

swirl removal is tops with menzerna, where as the ssr2.5 is decent

menzerna and some wolfgang make for a hell of a combo :woot:

I mostly use Intesive Polish and PO85RD(micro polish) and after that Menzerna FMJ as lsp. Works superb! But now I just want to order Menzerna PO73 or APO 60 as lsp.

I buy it from my local Menzerna dealer. I think I can get me these bottles. Or else I buy it from Germany.

well, i had tried out the ip and ssr 2.5 today, here are the resutls

well i bought a winter beater car yesterday and was loaded with swirls and what not. so today, i decided to tape the middle of the trunk and see what performs better. each was done with a lake county polishing pad and a pc with speeds starting at 3.5 then to 5 then to 6 for the final pass. let the pics speak for themselves

First up: the swirls i was dealing with

next is menzerna intensive polish:

here is poorboys ssr 2.5:

heres both:

conclusion: both are very good and i liked them a lot better than megs #83. there is very little hazing and if this was a light color, you could easily go straight to your lsp. the ip worked in quicker then the ssr 2.5 but i believe that the ssr 2.5 gave just a slight better results, not by much tho. this was also done using a polishing pad not a cutting pad. both polishes are great and recommend either of them.

Go ahead and do the final polish step on both those with the respective products. I think you will like what you see.;)
