what do you mean by top work? I have both polishers shown, so im sure i can help! :grinno:

IMO that`s like asking "which is best, a hand drill or a drill press?" I wouldn`t want to be without either of them, but if I could only have one I`d pick the PC (D/A).
Rotaries are good, especially when you need the extra power. But there aren`t all *that* many people who can do it all with *only* a rotary. E.G., if you get some holograms you`ll wish you had the PC too.
