I bought a bunch of this stuff recently and I must say it is not a great product. Very hard to work with and really gums up. I`m going back to Poorboys SSR line. They are much easier to work with.

Anyone else feel the same?

I feel that Meguiars gums up when you use too much product. I`m used to the Poorboys line, and even the Automagic line seems to be different. You have to learn every product you use.

Why don`t you tell us more about the process and then we can try and steer your towrds some techniques that may help with the product. Seems better than just starting a thread about why you can`t stand a product.

ebpcivicsi,

I know how to use a polisher and have good technique. I just find this product very hard to work with.

I always go back to a saying I often heard my Grandfather say "it is a poor craftsman who blames his tools for his mistakes". Seems you are intent on bashing the product rather than sharing with us how you used it so that those of us familiar with the product may be able to steer you in the right direction. As ScubaStevo said, the only time I have ever had DACP gum up is from using too much product.

I recognize some of the names in that thread and lets just say that they have their agendas. ;)

I would be suprised if you couldn`t find anyone who had a problem with any product. I don`t think a product exists that "everyone" is going to be happy with. As to that thread well, lets just say certain people have an agenda. ;)
