Just recieved some SSR 2.5, Optimum Polish, Some PC and rotary pads, EX, PwC Blue, and of course Blue Nattys. Today after washing my dads malibu which has AIO, SG, and Souveran on it I decided to compare Blue Nattys with Souveran. So on half the hood I did Blue Nattys and on the other half I reapplied the Souveran. All I have to say is there is a noticeable difference between the 2. They are both the best waxes I`ve used on a dark color but they give off different looks.

If you want a clean and clear look with a lot of depth then go with Souveran. However If you want a really wet ( and I mean really wet) look that darkens the paint and also has good depth then go with Blue Nattys. I will post back in this thread on how durability compares between them both. I will probly try out PwC blue, EX then Blue Nattys to see if it gives off an even wetter look next. Any questions are welcome.

I find that Souveran gives my black paint tremendous depth & wetness. However, I just got in from applying a fresh coat of Natty`s Blue on my black tacoma & man does it look delicious! I hit it with a little Crystal Mist prior to my final buffing & my mouth started watering! I agree with you......Both are top notch carnaubas, producing slightly different looks.

I agree with you both. I feel that Souveran adds a touch more clarity to the paint, however, for the money, I choose Natty`s Blue everytime! It gives a great wet look and depth that is outstanding! I would love to see comparison photos of the same vehicle detailed with both waxes, however the pictures would need to be taken at the same time of day from the same positions to give accurate contrast.

I will take some pics and see if you can notice a difference by looking at the camera pics. If you can`t then I wont post them up.

Souveran has a bit more depth to me but nothing beats the pure `wetness` of Natty`s Blue. Nothing.

Even on my son`s medium blue Cavalier it looks very wet (over NXT Paste):

If you have both, try Souveran over Blue Natty`s sometime. It`s a real winner, I`ve tried 10 or so different LSP combos on my car (RMG/Souveran, RMG/Blue Natty`s , UPP, K-Twins, Collinite 915, NXT/S100, RMG/S100, FK1 Pink, FK2180/Pink), and none came close to Blue Natty`s X2 topped with Souveran.

I love Blue Nattys but for me Souveran is still a bit better looking overall and a bit easier to apply. Blue Nattys has decent durability which surprised me. Another winner from Poorboys.
