I have found a nice site for those of you who need help in proper dilution ratios to make various strength cleaners for carpets, vinyl, leather, etc...



It is for making a gallon of solution. If you do the math, you can scale back the amount you make.

Nice work. I usually just covert the container to oz`s and divide by the required ratio.



But it does help now to have a handy dandy reference sheet :)

Don`t know who did the chart but their math is off. If you need 1 gal (128oz) of solution say a 1:10 you add the ratio parts, that gives us 11. The diluted solution is made up of 11 parts total. Now divide 128 by 11 to find out how much 1 part is. That gives us 11.6 oz for one part. So 11.6 oz of concentrate added to 11.6 X 10 (116) oz water will give us 1 gal at a 1:10 dilution
