Rock chips

I painted several chips on my hood. Used dealer touch-up paint with a 000 brush. The spots are now "silvery, shiny" and stick out like a sore thumb. What`s up with that? Do I need to remove and start over?

Car is navy blue metallic. Temp. was around 80, moderate humidity.

The touch-up paint sold by dealerships and the like is a Lacquer based paint. You should be able to rub it off with some thinner (depending on how long it`s been curing) or sand it down w/2000 girt sandpaper
