What products do you guys reach for most often?

The products I use the most often (these days) are:

Wash: Optimum Car Wash (but I still have a few gallons of NXT).
In 2005, I plan to try the new PB`s car wash.

Dry: Leaf blower & PB WW towel.

Wheel & Well Cleaner: EO A2Z and Kirkland APC.
In 2005, I plan to try the new poorboys wheel cleaner.

Cleaner Polish: I like Meg`s #80 and AIO.

Light polish: FPII.

Swirls/Scratches (light and heavy): Menzerna IP and Menzerna PG.

Glaze: VM and PwC.

Tire & Well dressing: BnB and Top of the Line Grape Tire dressing.

Sealer: UPP, but would probably use FMJ if it was at a similar price point.

Wax: Optimum Spray Wax and #16.

QD: I used to swear by Eimann Clear Perl, but Nick sent me a sample of Adam`s QD spray and it`s THE BEST I`ve ever used.

Waterless Wash: PB S&W.

All Purpose Cleaner: Kirkland (Costco) APC.

Wheel Protection: AIO & Optimum Car Wax
In 2005, I plan to use the PB`s wheel sealer (if it`s released).

Leather: Woolite and Warm Water & Leather Masters.

Carpet: Woolite and Warm Water, Steam Buggy, Wet/Dry Shop Vac.

Interior trim/vinyl: Optimum Protectant Plus or Meg`s #40 if I want a `new car smell`.

Engine: Kirkland APC and PB Trim Restore applied with a foam paint brush.

Windows: Damp MF towel (water only), followed up by a dry optimum window cleaning MF.

Jams: Clean with APC & warm water if they are filthy & greasy, topped with Optimum Car Wax.

Wash – Rain

Dry - sun and wind

Wheel and Wheel Cleaner – Brake Cleaner – That stuff rocks!

Cleaner polish – Formula 113

Light Polish – Formula 113 diluted with water

Swirls/Scratches – Leave them in, adds character

Glaze – Pledge, it works darn good

Tire & Wheel dressing – nekkid is good enough for me. I leave the blue stuff on the letters to make them tires look new longer

Sealer – Huh? Must be some new fangled gimmick thing

QD – Garden hose

Waterless wash – An old Metallica t-shirt

All Purpose Cleaner – Windex

Wheel Protection – years of dirt and grime

Leather – Saddle soap

Carpet – quarter vacuum at the gas station

Interior trim/vinyl – towel used for Windex

Engine – Why would you even clean that?

Windows – Windex and newspaper – It’s what the pro do!

Jams – My sleeve keeps them clean.

Anyone have any suggestions or comments?

Wash: NXT is my favorite so far. Still searching for the perfect wash though.

Clay: Clay Magic. Inexpensive and works just as well as clay bars costing twice as much.

Polishes: Poorboy`s SSR Line

Paint Cleaner: AIO

Sealant: UPP

Carnauba: Paste Glaz/Signature for silver (depends on what is underneath), Natty`s for darker colors, Souveran if I can justify the use (i.e., the driver will actually take care of the car).

Glass Cleaner: Invisible Glass

Vinyl & Rubber Dressing: Wolfgang

Tire Dressing: 303 Aerospace, though trying to find something less expensive that doesn`t sling.

Wheel Cleaner: A2Z. Best value and works as well as the $15/16 oz. wheel cleaners I`ve tried.

Leather: AutoGlym leather cleaner, don`t have a go to yet for a conditioner.

Products to try in 2005:

-Entire Poorboy`s line
-Sonus
