I see all you guys working on the newer cars, all with clearcoat I presume. Well, my father has a 1968 Plymouth Fury 3 with original paint, and it does show it`s age with swirls and scratches. So are all these products you guys use safe to use on non CC paints?

Yep, they`re all SS safe. Keep in mind that SS paint is a little softer, so go easy as far as products go. One of the best SS polishes is Meguiar`s #80, for whatever reason, due to oils, glaze content, etc. SS tends to respond very favorably to a good glaze/carnuba combo, like #3 topped with #26 or VM/Pinnacle Souveran.

 over the `68 C-Body MOPAR! I just love those things (my first car was a `70 Monaco).

What themightytimmah said :xyxthumbs I too would use #80 topped with one of their "pure polishes" (#3/#5/#7/#81) then a wax. Just take it easy and don`t try to remove all the marring. Remember that it`s only original once- better scratched up original paint than a new paintjob.
