I was wondering how these products are http://www.topoftheline.com/hitempproducts.html . I`m accustomed to meguiars but I don`t know how Hi-temp products compare. And I don`t know which one of theres products is comparable to say the #83 DACP or #80 speed glaze. Or if someone had that abrasive chart of 1-10 of their products. They seem very low in price and I wanted to know if people had success with these products.

their paint levelers are good especially the light and med cut working with a pc. Id go with the heavy & extreme cut if your working by rotory. I have some of their carwash and paint sealant if you want it just pay shipping. pm me if you want it

Chang- I`ve only used their Light Cut, and that was a while ago, but it worked fine. I don`t think anybody will say that the Hi-Temp polishes/compounds are *bad* products.

The Light (Lite?) Cut seemed about as strong as 3m PI-III RC, maybe a little milder, and it finished a bit better than the RC. It basically leaves a ready-to-wax finish unless you`re working with a soft, dark paint. Stronger than #80 and it doesn`t leave stuff like the Meg`s "trade secret oils" the way #80 does. I hesitate to compare it with #83 as I`m not that familiar with the #83, but they`re in the same ballpark.

I`ll echo what the others have said, but have never used my PC for anything else besides carpet cleaning. With a PC stay with the light/medium cut`s. The Medium Cut may require a few passes to produce the desired results.

Good stuff all around. Their wheel cleaner and APC is very good stuff also. I like their tire dressing, however, it is solvent based and cannot be shipped to certain states.

Just for clarification, TOL and Hi-Temp are two different companies, but TOL is the only online distributor for Hi-Temp products.

Sorry for the confusion. TOL is the only place that I knew of that sold HI-TEMP stuff.
