Lets see your brushes/mits/sponges/etc

I`m trying to get an idea of what other washing utensils I need and was wondering what other people have in their arsenal. I am in desperate need of some brushes for various things (wheels, undercarriage, engine, tight areas etc). What kind of stuff are ya`ll using, whats each thing for, and what are the rules for where it does and doesnt go so that it stays paint-safe?

Also, how do you wash them when its over so all the gunk and such stays out, and how often must some things be replaced.
