well see, if its like utopia, the emphasis is on the TO. Whereas, Bill`s could possibly have emphasis on the `pee`.



I ask all this because I try to refer this site in talking to others, and always end up pronouncing it both ways or else they really wonder how it is spelt :)

When I say it, I make a very brief pause after the "toe" than say the "pia"in a way that rhymes with "Kia".

I pronounce the "topia" part just like it is pronounced in utopia, except add an a in the front of it to = something like this. AWTOPIA
