fixing scratch on dash

A big whats up to everyone on the autopia forum! I was wondering if there is anything i can do to fix a scruff mark on an 05 impala dash? If youve ever noticed on the dash, its got a matte-like finish on it and I got a scruff that has a smooth shiny appearance in contrast with the matte-like finish, anything to fix or am I SOL? Thanks much!

Smooth shiny scuff? Are you sure some kind of oil or residue hasn`t been deposited there? I would try water:Woolite 6:1 to clean the area first, and evaluate. I`ve never heard of a scuff making the surface shinier.

I`m wondering the same. Kinda matte-looking black plastic and the minor

scratches are shinier. Any ideas?
