I remember that blue can well. I was like 14-15 years old.

Never cared for Rain Dance. I was a Vista and #7 New Car Wax man.

Jeez, remember how that stuff used to cake up in the cracks and crevices of everything. I still remember how tough it was to get off matte black surfaces!!!!

We`re talking late 70`s, early 80`s there....
I remember the Rain Dance days... along with the Atlanta Braves Chief Nacahoma? LOL

I used to use it on my `71 Chevelle and `77 Cutlass (with a 455 swapped in) back in the olden days. Decent shine and durability for back then.

I used to love Rain Dance, along with Nu-Finish ( which is still around today). It used to make my `76 Chevy Nova look great!!! Ahh, those were the days...

I share that memory. What a mess trying to clean it up.

Yes!! The old man always had a can of Kit lying around; I used it on his `71 Olds Cutlass, and my brother slapped it on his `72 Chevelle Malibu (though this was in the early Eighties). :chuckle:

I was The Treatment fan myself as it came in a gigantic tube and produced some pretty goo results. Use to use a fair amount of Rain Dance also. The supposedly bigwax back then was Classic in the black can. Pretty decent stuff, but a little spendier than the rest. Man, are we old or what? :scared:

I found an old can of Rain Dance in my garage a couple months ago. Must have been at least 10 years old, probably closer to 20. Looked like it was still usable too. Chucked it anyway.
If you`re feeling really nostalgic you can always go grab some an remind yourself of the "good ol` days". Rain Dance (http://www.cyclo.com/raindance.htm) is still available (http://www.amazon.com/gp/search.html/102-3198735-2161756?%5Fencoding=UTF8&node=14023931&brand=Rain%20Dance).

Yeah, I used The Treatment a few times myself.
Raindance wasn`t all that bad. When my aunt`s health got bad she used it on her MOPAR instead of the Meg`s stuff (#7 and #16) that had become too tough for her. When she died, her 10 year old Cordoba (`77 or maybe `78, last of the big blocks) was still immaculate, even by Autopian standards. It sure didn`t suffer from the Raindance ;)
