I just reaslised that my Chrysler 300C is sitting in my garage with chewing gum stuck to the lower rail just aft of the right front wheel. The garage is dark, so it has regretably sat there like this for a couple days before I noticed it.

Excellent condition silver paint with AIOx1 and SGx3 on it.

I looked in the archives and the best suggestions in what I found was peanut butter. Anyone havce any better ideas? How about Goo Gone?

Thanks,

....BH

Peanut butter is good for wax residue not gum. Goo gone will dissolve gum in rugs so it should work. One of those common solvents on the shelf might be easier, I just don`t know which one.
