What do you charge?

Lets start a list. It`ll be helpful for people like me who are still trying to solidify a pricing structure for their services.

So...

1. What do you charge for a wash, wash/wax, and for an ultimate detail?
2. Where do you live?
3. Are you mobile or do you have a store front?

1. Wash and wax $65-85. Premium Detail $130-175 haven`t sold one yet its part of my new services.
2. South Carolina
3. Temporary location

As for setting prices I simply took an hourly rate of ($20) and multiplied by a time estimate for the service depending on the size of vehicle and added $10-15 extra for products.

Premuim Detail

$20(rate I want per hr) x 6 Hr detail (Civic size car using PC to apply swirl removers...) + $10 for chemicals = $130

If I finish before 6 hrs thats money in my pocket. Kind of how a service shop pays a mechanic labor for turning over jobs.

1. Hand Wash $25-$50 (Approx 1 hour) Mini Detail $55 - $105 (Approx 2-4 hours) Complete Detail $135 - $195 (Approx 3-6 hours)

Complete Interior $80-100
Complete Exterior $80-100
Full Detail$150-200

I have Ala Carte items also :
Steam clean interiors $30
Paint sealant $40
Clean and dress engine compartment $40

Wash and wax on normal sedan= $75.00
Complete Interior=$100+
Exterior=$125+
Ultimate=$200+

+ = depends on condition and amount of time needed.

I am mobile.
