I have a pearl white i30 that I will be detailing
this spring. Paint is in good shape with minor scratches
on surface. My question is willI need a product with a
little more bite than AIO? If so what would you advise
me to use? Megs #80, 3M perfect it-2 Or pb-ssr1. No swirls to get out.
I am just looking to do the best Prep Possible before AIO. Planning on going with

clay magic, AIO ,UPP, possible Pinn Sign topper
or
clay magic, PPC, Pinn Signature topper

How deep are your minor scratches? IMO I would add the SSR1 into the process.

not to deep, looks like a frisbee slid across the surface

SSR1 and 2.5 are always great to have on hand. Sounds like you should try 1 first w/polishing pad. Then try cutting if not satisfied. If that doesn`t work go w/2.5.

I`m assuming this work will be done w/a PC..

I would use SSR1 w/a light cutting pad. It should do fine removing the light scratches and giving a great prep for your next step. IF SSR1 does not satisfy the removing of your "frisbee" marks, I am certain from my personal experience that SSR2.5 w/a light cutting pad will get the job done. :)

Agree with Luvnit. Start with the least abrassive and work your way up.

Megs #80 sounds perfect for this and should be sufficient. If the smudge or scratch seems to be too tough to get out, then use 3mPI III-RC with a cutting pad first followed by 80 with a polishing pad.
