Have you ever stopped by or seen the carwash over by the Hardees? 39.99 for wash and wax, yet I have yet to figure out what they use for the `wax` step.

Anyway, I work at SLU so I find myself in and around the hill often, nice area.

With my previous car, a 97 Explorer I used to use that car wash all the time. Joe is the owner and is a very nice guy. I think 90% of the public would be very happy with their work, but remember it is not a touchless wash, they do not use microfiber towels to dry (look like terry towels but are pretty beat up) so if you are as particular about your paint as some of the posters are here, then you would not want to use them. I have had them do a hand wax and was happy with the results, but never have been into detailing my car until now. Now I would do the wax myself. They use some commercial liquid wax (can`t remember what kind) and a foam applicator. Bottom line, OCD about detailing, don`t use them, normal car cleaning person, then you would be fine.
