I found this at patshak. http://store.pakshak.com/micropak-mfcr-16oz.html

Seems kind of pricey. Is it worth it? Or is the something cheaper and equilvalent?

I use Woolite, which also isn`t cheap, but it`s available locally and works great. My MF products are still very soft and absorbent.

Just plain Tide. I have a bottle of Micro-Restore that I used once. It worked well but I keep forgetting to use it. Not much comparison to Tide.

I use a liquid detergent (tide or the like) and add a small amount (1/2 cup) of vinegar to the final rinse. Works real well for my PakShak towels.

zimmerDN, I bought a similar product, Micro-Restore from Ian over a Autofiber.com. It works quite well. Since that purchase I was also guided to Charlie`s Soap by Bretfraz, using it for my normal laundry as well as MF towels. It also works very well. Before either of those, I used liquid Purex.

I agree with the vinegar in the rinse water. I use that on the majority of my laundry, MF or not. Sometimes a second rinse for your MF products is worthwhile. You can always check your final rinse water to tell if the second rinse is necessary.

Mr. Clean- Heh heh, this time *you* beat *me* to one of our "what he said" posts :D

Yeah, the MicroRestore works great. Far better than Tide/Cheer/Purex in my experience.

Has anyone used the Pinnacle Micro Rejuvenator, and also used Micro Restore? If so, how do these compare? Like Accumulator, I like Micro Restore ... but I got a good deal on some of Pinnacle`s stuff. Does it work as well as Micro Restore?

Woolite every time for me. I tried a couple of MF cleaners and couldn`t see a major improvement

I usually clean them at 40 or 60 degrees on normal cycle and spin @ 1500, then add some white vinegar on the conditioner cycle, rinse twice more then air dry.

I`ve notched up to 90 degrees recently for some dirtier towels and they came out fluffier and softer than ever.

Oh, and I rinse the machine through with white vinegar before washing towels to ensure any soap/conditioner is flushed out before my towels go in - my GF thinks I put more into cleaning MF`s than clothes - she`s probably right :D
