View Full Version : 1st post, my motorcycle detail

Hey everyone. My first post here, but I`ve been lurking for a few years now. In early 05, I picked up a PC7336 from Lowes for $99+tax, and immediately got to polishing right after.



I recently did my `97 Red Supra, but haven`t had time to take newer pics (out driving it out now that it`s swirl free!).



I want to be a little different and start off with my motorcycle detail. It`s a 2003 Yamaha Roadstar Warrior with a bunch of mods, chrome everywhere, and soon (this July) I will be installing a turbo kit. Anyhoo, onto the pics:







Notice the swirls in the direct sunlight?



Porter Cable 7336 with a 6" counterweight

Sonus orange pad with Meguiar`s #80 on 4.5 to 5.

Sonus green with Meguiar`s NXT Paste, hand applied, polished in with the greed pad on 4.

S100 several times on the tank, and fenders by hand, but only after 24 hours since NXT was applied.

my soon to be detailing partner has a fat boy. i told him he is in charge of detailign all bikes :p
