Hi all,
I`ve got a 2005 new VW Golf in a dark metallic colour that I am about to give its first detail. The car is not garaged normally and I`d like at least 3 months gloss durability if possible.
To date I`ve used only Autoglym products on previous cars, but having looked at the reviews I wanted to try some new products.
This was what I planned to do:
1) Wash with Meg`s Gold Class, or NXT or Autoglym shampoo. Is any better for wax prep?
2) Clay the car with Megs - would you do the whole car or just spots?
3) Apply P21S GEPC
4) Use Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant. One or two coats? (I hear this is better than Autoglym`s super resin polish)
5) Apply Autoglym`s Extra Gloss Protection if people think this is worth while.
6) P21S wax.
What do people think - are any steps unnecessary?
