Wow, it didn`t even occur to me that those rims were chrome until I saw the after pics. Looks nice.

What process did you use to shine the "grooved" side paneling?

Did you try polishing out the headlight lenses?

Thanks for the reply, In the grooved paneling i just angled my PC a touch as i went over them. I didn`t try buffing the headlights, i`m not sure what to use on them???

Looks great, and looks like you put another pair of rims on it  Nice job though :xyxthumbs

Did you work everything by hand or machine?

I didn`t coat them with anything, just a toothbrush and full strength super clean...

What would a person use to coat wheels?

Wow, first rate job on the rims. If you find yourself seeing cars in that shape regularly, you might want to get a pressure washer and a good acid based wheel cleaner. It might not look any better than that when you`re done, but it`ll only take 5-10 minutes for all 4 rims.

To coat the rims, you can use any sealant, but the best results come from a sealant designed for wheels. My favorite is Detailer`s Pride Wheel Glaze, but Poorboys makes a decent product too (same results, harder to work with).

Also, if you keep up on the track that you`re going, you will be "that good" pretty quickly. You`re better than I was 6 months ago, thats for sure. It looks like you`ve pretty much got the routine and attention to detail down, just step up your products and equipment a notch, and you`ll be there. Consider switching to a rotary, Menzerna polishes, and a high-end paste wax. It`ll give you that extra 10%, and save atleast an hour in the process :).

Nice job on the Grand Am! I`d say you know what you`re doing, big change in the wheels and paint. Try some AIO and SG on the wheels Skotter, I`ve had great results with it.
