I detailed my friends 95 Cobra this past Monday. The car is a garage queen which is rarely driven, so it only has 14K original miles on it. It was in really good shape to begin with so it didn`t need anything too extensive. I polished it with SSR1 by rotary, hand application of #9 and 2 coats of P21S.

It`s because I took the picture in the sun.

Here`s another pic at a different angle http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y296/rickrack/Porsche911-BradsCobra018.jpg

How would you rate the SSR 1 w/ a rotary in regards to removing swirls?

Nice car. I have a Blue similar to it back home in TN. It`s in horrible shape though!

im guessing they relocated the battery to the trunk for better weight distribution and that is a quick disconnect for the battery:nixweiss

At first I was thinking either fuel cutoff, or kill switch - but I dont see a battery under the hood, so it must be the quick disconnect :nixweiss

It appears to be a kill switch. Usually regulated once you reach a certain 1/4 mile time. At least here in Canada.

It is an on/off switch for the battery (kill switch), which is required to race on any NHRA track with a battery relocated in the trunk.

If he would have left the battery under the hood, he wouldn`t have needed it, but since he relocated it, he had to have it.

I put mine in the middle of the license plate. Since we only have six digits on our plates with a space in the middle, it was perfect.

I fully agree with that.

Also tell him that if he really wants to get the most out that car, get rid of the Vortech Boost Retard and FMU and get the car tuned on a dyno by someone that can do a Superchips custom tune. He`ll probably pick up an additional 100 hp and be more efficient at the same time, which = safer power.

I don`t trust those darn Boost Retards and FMU`s, they are just accidents waiting to happen. :down

Ya, but with a 14K beautiful cobra, he would be better off keeping it stock.

Stock Cobra that pretty = :woot:

Very true, but he`s a long way from being stock already, so he may as well make the most of it. :xyxthumbs
