Great car m8, looks good. Did you find you got much benefit from 2 layers of P21s?

I plan to get an Elise or Exige in the next 5 years or so. Looks lovely.

Silly question, but can the roof come of on the Exige like it does on the Elise?

Cheers for the coments guys.

The car is a my2000 S1 Lotus Exige, it has a 1800 rover K series engine running 190bhp. The car only weighs 750Kg so does 0-60 in 4.6 seconds and 0-100 in 12.2 seconds and only has a top speed of 130mph due to the areodynamics of the front and rear spoilers.

The roof can come of with a special tool but this voids any insurance on the car as it is registered as a coupe.

I`d say your coming along nicely:xyxthumbs . That car is sweet, it has some crazy bodylines,it looks like a blend of four or 5 cars put into one. Their are some cars we miss in the States:( ! Keep up the good work. Any pics with the top off?

Basil, now that`s what a foreign job is supposed to look like. I went to the *Historics* at Limerock last Labor day (Sept) and those great memories came back. I saw Lotus Super 7`s that were to "die for". Actually they looked way better than when they were new.

awesome ride.. legal in canada come 2006.. me may get one :-D

for added "pop" I would use zaino z2 pro x 3 as an lsp and there will be no need for a topper..
